Peninsula Holiday Parade 2021
On Saturday, December 4, 2021, the City of Rolling Hills Estates hosted the annual Holiday Parade to officially kick off the holiday season!
Complete with holiday floats, some of our local marching bands, organizations and civic groups, there were local business sponsors and even Santa came out to join in the fun! Kenley Jansen, MLB World Series Champion and 11-season Dodgers pitcher, served as the Grand Marshal for the parade. Kenley and Gianni Jansen along with their four children have been residents of Palos Verdes since 2017.
Also featured as the Community Grand Marshall was retired Rolling Hills Estates Councilmember and Mayor, Judith Mitchell and the Palos Verdes Peninsula Chamber of Commerce Citizens of the Year, our local First Responders, which include Los Angeles County Fire, Sheriff and EMTs, Palos Verdes Estates Police Department and local hospital representatives from Torrance Memorial, Little Company and Kaiser Permanente.
