On November 6th PV Magazine joined the Peninsula Education Foundation for the Inaugural Toast on The Coast event. This outdoor coastal festival featured live music, food tasting stations, wine, beer and cocktail stations, a special VIP area and private cabanas!
All proceeds will benefit our Palos Verdes Public Schools. Many are surprised to learn that the PVPUSD receives less money per student than surrounding school districts(we are nearly last in LA County.) The Peninsula Education Foundation raises funds for all public schools on the Peninsula to ensure important programs that have been cut by the state such as music, P.E., counseling, engineering/technology, teaching positions and student wellness programs continue to enrich the education and lives of our students as they prepare to be our leaders of tomorrow.
