LA Kings Ice at Promenade on the Peninsula is now open!
We are thrilled that the LA Kings Ice at Promenade on the Peninsula is now open!” Cortney Medak, General Manager of Promenade on the Peninsula said. “The Ice Rink has been a staple on the hill for many years, and we are excited for the legacy to continue for our community and are looking forward to seeing local patrons back on the ice again!”
It was a very hard September day when the LA County Health Department deemed the ice rink as “Family Entertainment” and walked over to the rink with me as I had to inform the rink staff to lock the doors due to Covid 19. We knew we would open again once family entertainment sectors could in a safe way and we found the right direction for the rink.
The LA Kings and American Sports Entertainment Company were the right collaboration to bring to our community as many of them have history on the hill. Their staff’s dedication to the rink showed each morning when I came in and saw what they had accomplished in a day. They are amazing to work with!
