Andrea Crissman

This collection includes a collaboration with California artist Andrea Crissman, whose hand-carved linocut piece, PV Highlights, beautifully captures the essence of the Peninsula with clean lines and timeless detail. The collection features postcard sets, a unisex t-shirt, and a fine art print—each showcasing a high-quality digital reproduction of Andrea’s original artwork. To bring the piece to life, Andrea designed the map layout, transferred it onto linoleum, carved it entirely by hand, and printed each one using a traditional hand-cranked press. This hands-on process ensures every piece carries the unique character of her craft—something we’ve preserved in this exclusive offering.
Andrea’s artwork is inspired by the stories, landmarks, and shared connections that give a place its identity. Having lived in many places before settling in Southern California, she has a deep appreciation for local culture and community. Her hand-printed flour sack towels can also be found at Malaga Cove Ranch Market, and now her signature style is available in a new way through this special holiday collection.
Kathy Tyndall

Our holiday collection also features beloved local artist Kathy Tyndall, whose vibrant depictions of iconic South Bay landmarks are well-known throughout the Peninsula. This season, we’re pleased to offer digital reproductions of two of Kathy’s signature watercolor paintings—Pt. Vicente Lighthouse and PV Views from RAT Beach—on notecards and ceramic mugs, making them thoughtful and beautifully practical gifts for anyone who cherishes Palos Verdes.
A resident of the Peninsula since 1976, Kathy draws inspiration from the coastal landscape she calls home. With a Bachelor of Arts in Design from California State University, Los Angeles, her artistic journey has included commissions for USC, Chadwick School, Terranea Resort, and the official commemorative watercolor for the Palos Verdes Estates 75th Anniversary. Her cards are currently available at the Palos Verdes Library and select South Bay retailers. You can follow her work on Instagram at @KTyndallArt.
Susan (Suzy) Summit Cyr

We are also excited to highlight the work of lifelong Peninsula resident Susan Summit Cyr, whose art beautifully reflects the coastal world that surrounds us. This collection features digital reproductions of two of Susan’s captivating pieces—Tidepool Dreaming, offered as both a professional print and postcard set, and Brown Pelican, showcased on postcards and ceramic mugs. These items are ideal for anyone who loves marine life, local wildlife, or simply the serenity of ocean-inspired art.
Raised in Palos Verdes and deeply connected to its natural environment, Susan has spent decades observing and interpreting the coastal ecosystem through her brush. Working primarily with dyes on silk, she creates vibrant, large-scale paintings that capture the movement, detail, and wonder of the shoreline’s living rhythms. When she isn’t creating, Susan can be found
