The Parade of Trees Gala was held on November 14, 2025 at the Dalmatian American Club in San Pedro. The event has become one of Toberman Neighborhood Center’s most impactful traditions, bringing together community partners, donors, and leaders in a shared commitment to strengthening the Harbor community. What began as a small luncheon has evolved into a major fundraising event that fuels essential programs such as food distribution, youth development, crisis intervention, and housing support. This year’s Gala reached record levels of generosity, reflecting the trust and belief our community places in Toberman’s mission. More than a celebration, the Parade of Trees is a reminder of what is possible when compassion, leadership, and purpose come together.

Our First Parade of Trees — Celebrating Home for the Holidays

This year marked Palos Verdes Magazine’s very first time participating in Toberman’s beloved Parade of Trees — and we couldn’t have felt more grateful to be part of such a meaningful community tradition. Led with incredible passion and creativity by PV Mag team member Cindy Donnelly, our Heart of the Peninsula tree celebrated the magic of home and the local businesses that bring joy to our everyday lives.
Inspired by our Malaga Cove Plaza Holiday Gift Guide, the tree featured handcrafted ornaments lovingly made by Cindy, plus favorite finds from local shops including Corners of the World, the Point Vicente Interpretive Center Gift Shop, The Rose and the Silver Bell wine, and even a delicious nod to Neptune’s Frozen Treats. Every detail was chosen to honor the people, places, and stories that make the Peninsula shine.
We are thrilled to support Toberman’s mission and to spread holiday cheer in a way that truly reflects our community spirit. Our hearts are full — and officially in the holiday spirit!
