Peninsula Heritage School’s annual spring GALA traditionally raises funds for improvements at the school. However, proceeds from the recent “Heritage Hoedown” at H.T. Grill in Redondo Beach will not be utilized by Peninsula Heritage School. Instead, the funds will be donated to five independent schools that were completely burned in the recent wildfires. Parent co-chairs Devon Hennessey Smith and Anna Perry, assisted by Hayley Tumanjan and Ashley Carlin, designed a fabulous cowboy-themed event that included a live band, delicious three-course dinner, and live auction with auctioneer/comedienne Suzanne Krainock. Attendees’ enthusiasm for this cause was evident by their amazing generosity!
