Peninsula Education Foundation held its Major Donor Reception at a beautiful oceanfront home in Rancho Palos Verdes and recognized donors who have given $2500+ during the 2023-24 school year. These generous supporters help provide students at all 17 Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District schools with a rich academic environment that will directly impact their future success.
The 2023 Chuck Miller Teacher Grant recipients were also honored and recognized for their exemplary efforts of providing unique experiences and learning opportunities for Palos Verdes students. In 1990, PEF was able to establish the Chuck Miller Teacher Grant program due to the generosity of Chuck Miller, former Rancho Vista Elementary principal, past president of PEF and local business leader. These PVPUSD teachers were awarded grants up to $1,500 to use to bring new ideas and innovation into the classroom.
