Starting the week of June 12th, art students ages 5-7 & 8-12 can experience various art medias throughout each week with different themes dedicated to their interests. We offer both half-day (Morning or Afternoon) and full-day (9am to 4pm) options to help fit your summer schedules best, plus all materials will be provided. Summer Term at the Studio School at Palos Verdes Art Center

The Studio School offers beginning to advanced level youth and adult art classes in various medias such as art theory, painting, printmaking, ceramics, drawing, glass blowing, digital design and more. Our full listing of courses can be found online.

Now Trending: 7th Annual Alpay Scholarship Exhibition
June 10 – July 8

Current art and media students from Southern California colleges and universities were invited to submit engaging new work to be showcased in Palos Verdes Art Center’s Alpay Scholarship Exhibition, Now Trending. One $5000 cash prize will be awarded. In addition, the scholarship winner will be considered for inclusion in future PVAC exhibitions. This exhibition is open only to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students in Southern California.

Michael Davis: Perception
On View Through July 8

Perception presents sculpture and two-dimensional works that challenge how we see the world. A number of works are collages comprised of found materials, fabrics, wallpapers, digital imagery, paint, and precious metals, and a special element – images that have been rendered in 3D. Special glasses are provided to see the work.
