Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF)

The mission of Peninsula Education Foundation is to raise and grant funds to enhance educational excellence for PVPUSD students. Founded in 1979 by concerned parents, the Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF) was established in response to cuts in essential programs like music and PE due to changes in school funding. With initial support from the Kenneth T. and Eileen L. Norris Foundation, PEF has spent 45 years raising funds to maintain and enhance vital educational programs in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District (PVPUSD). The foundation aims to address the significant funding gap faced by the district, which serves approximately 10,300 students.
