Cancer Support Community South Bay (CSC South Bay) welcomed more than 250 guests to its 29th Annual Celebrate Wellness Gala on Aug. 15 at the Westdrift Hotel in Manhattan Beach, raising more than $230,000 to help provide more than 200 free programs each month for cancer patients and their families. The Great Gatsby-themed evening featured dinner, live and silent auctions, a Golden Ticket drawing, a speakeasy-inspired wine pull and entertainment by magician Aaron O’Brien.

KTLA’s Wendy Burch emceed the evening, CSC South Bay participant Sean Fistonich shared his personal cancer journey and how the organization’s free programs helped him, and members of the Youth Leadership Council were recognized for helping raise awareness of CSC South Bay’s mission in local schools and throughout the community.
