Upside of Aging Speakers Steve Lopez & Helen Dennis

The Palos Verdes Peninsula Village celebrated its 9th Annual Upside of Aging in September at the Palos Verdes Golf Club. Over 300 guests enjoyed a conversation between award winning journalist, Steve Lopez, and syndicated columnist, Helen Dennis, as they explored storytelling, meaningful experiences, and the life lessons that shape us. Steve Lopez is a L.A. Times columnist and four-time Pulitzer Prize finalist. Helen Dennis is an esteemed expert on aging and retirement and writes the nationally syndicated column, Successful Aging. Attendees also enjoyed a fabulous silent auction with one-of-a-kind rare and unique prizes along with special sponsor and community information tables. The Palos Verdes Peninsula Village is a vibrant, local nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for older adults who wish to maintain independence while remaining in their homes.
