Palos Verdes Magazine is the only publication on the Peninsula that combines a monthly printed magazine with a strong digital presence, including weekly newsletters, social media engagement, and a comprehensive community calendar. Our reach which includes our website is extensive, and in 2024 alone, we had over 450,000 eyes on our product across all channels.
Currently we print and mail out to key neighborhoods in PVE, RPV, and RHE. In addition to our mailed distribution, we have magazine stands in Lunada Bay, Golden Cove, Malaga Cove, and The Promenade Mall near Good Stuff, as well as additional drop-off locations, including local businesses and the Palos Verdes Library.
Our combined print and digital readership exceeds 55,000 Peninsula residents each month, and our newsletter open rate averages 56%!

“Welcome to your community magazine! My hope is that the stories we share are impactful, informative and fun! We want to connect the community in positive ways that support everyone. We live in paradise and there is nowhere I would rather be!”
Kristin has lived in Palos Verdes for over 22 years and is a proud mother of two: Grace, 20, who attends Texas Christian University (TCU), and Ross, 19, a student at Southern Methodist University (SMU). Kristin is an active community volunteer, having served on the board of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Education Foundation (PEF) in fundraising roles, as a leader in the Peninsula Chapter of NCL, and as a member of PTSA, Booster Club, and a Girl Scout Leader.
Inspired by the Peninsula’s interconnected communities, Kristin founded Palos Verdes Magazine and its sister publication, EXPLORE the Peninsula. Since launching in January 2020, the magazine has published 56 issues and expanded its reach with a dynamic digital platform. The website features an interactive community calendar showcasing events and activities throughout the Palos Verdes Peninsula and South Bay, including free family-friendly events and things to do with kids.
The magazine’s annual Kid’s Camp Issue highlights summer camps in the South Bay. In 2023, the team took over the Backpack Flyer, which is distributed to over 4,000 elementary school students in the Palos Verdes Peninsula Unified School District. Additionally, EXPLORE the Peninsula, launched in 2022 as a quarterly publication, celebrates the history, landmarks, and activities across Palos Verdes Estates, Rolling Hills Estates, Rolling Hills, and Rancho Palos Verdes.
With weekly digital newsletters and free delivery of the printed publication to Peninsula residents, Palos Verdes Magazinecontinues to foster a strong sense of community through engaging, relevant, and uplifting content.
