DESCRIPTION:Join us for this intimate multimedia arts event\, hosted by insightful artist\, Cheryl Girard\, and sponsored by Linda Grimes of the San Pedro Waterfront Arts District\, Liz Schindler Johnson of the Grand Vision Foundation\, Jenny Eisenpresser-independent artist and Linna Hanson.\n\n\n\n\n\nFlesh and Soul\, a raw and vulnerable show\, explores how body image is linked to our feelings of self-worth and confidence. At this event you will experience Cheryl’s personal journey through her paintings\, poetry and essays as she moves you through the tender truths\, we all hold deep beneath the surface.\n\n\n\n\n\nCheryl is an courageous artist with an important message. We want to help her launch Flesh and Soul and support her in expanding her movement of body positivity\, self-worth\, women’s leadership and showing up for each other. The gathering will begin with an hour to take in the art\, sip some wine and enjoy a few nibbles. Cheryl will begin sharing her writing at 5pm. Afterward there will be more time for art and discussion. (Adults only please.)\n\n\n\n\n\nHer newly published book\, Flesh and Soul\, will be available for sale and she will happily sign your copy!\n\n \n\n\n\n\n\nStreet parking is available. Event is in the El Segundo Arts District\, just blocks away from the downtown Main Street area.
