Torrance, CA – Torrance Memorial Medical Center hosted its 41st annual Holiday Festival from December 3 – 8, 2024, culminating in the elegant Festival Gala on December 6. Held in a 23,000-square-foot tent on the hospital’s campus, the Gala brought together community leaders, donors, and supporters for an unforgettable evening featuring gourmet dining, silent and live auctions, and the display of 32 intricately decorated Christmas trees. The event raised $2.1 million to support the hospital’s Emergency Department Campaign, and during the evening, a transformative $21.8 million gift from Mary Tu was announced, further advancing Torrance Memorial’s mission to provide exceptional healthcare for the South Bay community.
While the Gala served as a highlight of the festival for many, the week-long event also welcomed the public to enjoy boutique shopping, family-friendly activities, and the chance to view the spectacular holiday trees. Torrance Memorial continues its legacy as one of the region’s premier medical centers, dedicated to delivering state-of-the-art care and compassionate service.
