Special Children’s League (SCL) held its annual benefit on November 17, 2023 at the Palos Verdes Golf Club to a sold-out crowd. Founded in 1957, SCL’s mission is to support, educate, and reach out to the community regarding the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities including cerebral palsy and autism. Their goal is to lift the lives and spirits of those affected, through education in the local community and as a team member of Momentum (formerly United Cerebral Palsy of Los Angeles). SCL is grateful for the support of its sponsors, including The John Gogian Family Foundation, and Richard and Theodosia Shor Foundation. Guest Speakers were Lori Anderson of Momentum, Dr, Erin O’Mahony, PT, DPT, HPCS of Manes for Movement, and Brittany Gardner, a Manes for Movement parent.
