OUR MISSION is to support women and children in crisis throughout the South Bay area.
ESTABLISHED in 1958 as a non-profit public benefit corporation, the Palos Verdes Junior Women’s Club is designated as a 501(c)(3) charitable organization by the Internal Revenue Service.
OUR GOAL is to promote the social welfare of the greater South Bay community through financial assistance and hands-on support.
FOCUS is placed on groups that have critical, yet often overlooked needs. Our contributions provide assistance to philanthropies that are categorized as follows:
Crisis – Support immediate life-threatening or critical needs
Intervention – Provide long-term needs of a critical nature
Prevention – Prevent crisis situations from happening
Support – Provide assistance through positive encouragement
Service – Provide assistance to the general public.
