PV PETS
MEET CHARLY AND RAY BUTTLES
Story by PV Resident and Owner of Walk & Wag South Bay, Jonna Werts
The Buttles family is very familiar with the Palos Verdes Peninsula.
Jon, Lindsey, Harper (12), and Ellie (9) have called the hill home for the last three years. Lindsey is a Chadwick alumni, and has lived on the hill most of her life. After living in New York, the Buttles family was thrilled to come back home to Palos Verdes Estates. The Buttles family also includes two furry family members, Charly and Ray, who have brought endless joy to the family.
Charly is an 8-month old golden retriever, and the newest addition to the Buttles family. She was named after one of the family’s best friends. Since her arrival in December, she has kept her new family on their toes. Like most puppies, she is a maniac and full of energy. She eats everything in sight, but gets away with almost anything because she is so adorable. Harper and Ellie enjoy watching Charly chow down on her food and run around the house.

The Buttles feel so lucky to have Charly and Ray in their lives!
Ray is an 8-year old West Highland terrier mix, who came to the Buttles from the Lovejoy Foundation. The Buttles family originally fostered Ray, but quickly fell in love with him, and decided he needed to be part of their family. When he was younger, Ray was also a maniac. However, he is now calm and the family calls him the “golden dog.”
