Friends of Cabrillo Marine Aquarium honored Alida Post and John Van Hamersveld with their leadership award at the Grand Grunion Gala on Sept. 7, 2024. The artist and his business manager donated their time and talents to install four beautiful murals at the Aquarium. The annual fundraiser drew more than four hundred guests and raised more than $300,000, with Valero, Honda and the L.A. Cruise Alliance serving as top sponsors.
