Whether gathering fireside for cocktails\, dining al fresco at sunset or dancing beneath the stars\, each evening captures the laid-back spirit of a Southern California summer. \n\n\n\nGeneral admission for the public is $30\, exclusive of food and beverages plus 20% service charge\, tax and processing fees during check-out. Resort guests and children ages 13 and under are complimentary. \n\n\n\nPrivate cabanas are available for $500 (admission for eight guests included)\, plus tax and processing fees during booking. A 20% service charge will be added to the final bill at the time of the event. \n\n\n\nIn addition to the Nelson’s stage\, guests can enjoy nightly live music throughout the resort\, including at the Lobby Bar and Casamigos Terrace\, where expertly crafted seasonal cocktails\, ocean views and a refined coastal ambiance create the perfect setting for summer evenings by the sea. \n\n\n\nDoors open at 6 p.m. and live music takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. on the Sunset Bluff at Nelson’s. DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss out on gathering together on the beautiful coast for fun\, food\, music\, and community. BYO Picnic starts at 5:30pm\, concert at 6:30pm. A unique opportunity to enjoy the grounds of the historic Neighborhood Church overlooking the sea.  Donations will be accepted at a free will offering during the concert. \n\n\n\nThe group features lead vocalist Robin Hattersley\, guitarist/bassist John Balesteri\, and keyboardist Paul Cirillo—three accomplished performers with decades of experience. \n\n\n\nRobin began singing at The Neighborhood Church at age seven and later served as lead soprano for the twice Grammy-nominated LA Jazz Choir. She toured Latin America with the Ray Conniff Orchestra\, performed at major venues including the Music Center and House of Blues\, and has had original songs featured on television and radio. She currently sings with the South Bay band Bluezilla. \n\n\n\nJohn has performed for more than 20 years with Midlife Crisis and at venues throughout the South Bay and Palm Springs. \n\n\n\nPaul’s career includes community events\, appearances with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus and the New England Whalers\, and more than 16 years with Midlife Crisis.
