DESCRIPTION:Christmas Eve celebrants may choose to be guests at Marriott Long Beach Downtown’s first Christmas Eve Buffet served at its new\, modern decor Local Current. The special savory buffet is the masterwork of Chef Leo De Leon and his kitchen crew. To begin the feast\, there’s Lobster Bisque Soup with tarragon crème fraîche and fines herbes and the bread display offers Assorted Dinner Rolls and Rosemary Focaccia with whipped butter. Salads are Gem Salad with shaved parmesan\, chives\, focaccia crouton and classic Caesar dressing and Rocket Arugula & Pear Salad composed of endive\, stilton blue cheese\, candied walnuts and pear vinaigrette. Chilled Shrimp Cocktail and Oysters and Crab Claws with sauces are served at the seafood display. Delicious entrees feature Prime Rib with bearnaise and horseradish cream and Roasted Turkey with gravy and housemade cranberry sauce. Sides include Asparagus\, Garlic Mashed Potatoes\, Heirloom Carrot and Cream Corn Casserole.
