DESCRIPTION:The Marine Mammal Care Center is open for public visitation Fridays\, Saturdays\, Sundays\, and Mondays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. They are closed to public visitation Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays. During your visit\, you will get to see seal and sea lion patients\, enjoy various exhibits\, join a scheduled lecture or activity\, and learn from our experienced volunteer docents. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. To book with a Deaf Guide\, please contact dbader@marinemammalcare.org to coordinate a time and date.Tickets are free (a $5 donation per person is appreciated) and must be reserved online in advance. DESCRIPTION:Help care for the gardens at White Point Nature Preserve by planting native shrubs\, removing invasive weeds\, watering native plants\, grooming trails and more!  \n\n\n\nBy volunteering you will help the Conservancy maintain and care for the White Point gardens by planting native shrubs\, removing invasive weeds\, watering\, or laying down mulch and more! \n\n\n\nYour efforts will help restore this habitat for wildlife as well as create a beautiful outdoor space for the community to enjoy! \n\n\n\nPlease come prepared to work outdoors by wearing closed-toed shoes\, and by bringing sun protection\, drinking water and a snack. \n\n\n\nStudents can earn service hours. All volunteers under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign and complete their release before they can volunteer.
