Changes aim to improve donation management and continue vital support for PV Library District Programs! \n\n\n\nTo address the overwhelming volume of recent donations and associated safety concerns\, the Foundation is implementing the following changes: \n\n\n\n\nNew Donation Schedule: Donations will be accepted only on the second Saturday of themonth\, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.\n\n\n\nUpdated Donation Standards: All items must be in good condition (no damage\, mold\, orexcessive markings).\n\n\n\nNo Longer Accepted: Magazines\, periodicals\, and loose-leaf binders will no longer beaccepted.\n\n\n\n\nThe Foundation encourages the community to continue donating “gently used” books and media to help maintain these valued programs. SUMMARY:Los Serenos de Point Vicente Docent Guided Nature Walk at Ocean Trails Reserve (Sunrise/Sunset Trails)
DESCRIPTION:Please join us at the Ocean Trails Reserve for a guided tour on October 18th\, 2025\, led by the Los Serenos de Point Vicente Docents. We will meet at the sign-in table which will be set on the sidewalk of the parking lot at 1 pm. Please look for a banner. \n\n\n\nThe hike will take place through the Coastal Sage Scrub Habitat along the Western Bluff of Trump National Golf Course\, learn about local geology and fall blooming habitat. Stay to watch the sunset from beautiful Founders Park. The tour will be of approximately 1 and a half to 2 hours duration. This is a moderate hike which involves walking on some unstable surfaces and loose gravel down at the beach. \n\n\n\nThe themes for this Nature Walk are R.P.V. founding and Japanese Farming. Please bring water sincethere is no drinking fountain on the trails\, and for your safety\, wear sturdy closed toe shoes.
