DESCRIPTION:If you missed the opening reception for “Art in the Cove 2024” show it is not too late to enjoy all the beautiful artwork that represents the best of our local artists. The new exhibit is presented by The Artists’ Studio of Palos Verdes (taspv.com) at the historic Malaga Cove Library in Palos Verdes Estates\, CA. Original work in pastel\, oil\, watercolor\, mixed media and photography are all included in a show that ranges from plein aire to abstract. These beautiful pieces will be on sale in the library until April 28\, 2024.  \n\n\n\nArt Exhibition Runs through April 27\, 2024\, open daily during regular business hours of the Malaga Cove Library.

This exciting event is fun for everyone. Whale of a Day celebrates the migration of the Pacific Gray whale from the frigid waters of the Arctic seas to the warm lagoons of Baja California. \n\n\n\nEvent highlights include: \n\n\n\n\nChildren’s games & crafts\n\n\n\nInflatables\n\n\n\nFace painting\n\n\n\nPoint Vicente Lighthouse Grounds Tours\n\n\n\nTours of the Interpretive Center’s museum\n\n\n\nMarine-themed vendors and local organizations\n\n\n\nLive music from local artists\n\n\n\nFood trucks\, Kettle Corn\, Churros\, Beer & Wine\n\n\n\nSilent Auction & Raffle\n\n\n\nAnd as always – gorgeous views and cliff-side whale watching!\n\n\n\n\nThe event is free to the public and takes place on the main grounds of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center at 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West.
