DESCRIPTION:PV Bike Club holds regular Sunday morning breakfast rides that depart at 7:30 AM from the fountain in Malaga Cove Plaza\, PVE. Riders of all types\, guests and visitors are welcome; just show up wearing your helmet and with your bike in good working condition! Most of the rides are of medium (20 to 35 miles) duration. The restaurants are generally modestly priced with good to excellent menus. These are social events – not races. We try not to leave anyone behind (unless\, of course\, you want to be alone!). Non-members/visitors may participate in a maximum of one ride before joining the club. Guests must sign a liability waiver form which you will find here: Palos Verdes Bicycle Club (pvbikeclub.net). DESCRIPTION:PV Bike Club holds regular Sunday morning breakfast rides that depart at 7:30 AM from the fountain in Malaga Cove Plaza\, PVE. Riders of all types\, guests and visitors are welcome; just show up wearing your helmet and with your bike in good working condition! Most of the rides are of medium (20 to 35 miles) duration. The restaurants are generally modestly priced with good to excellent menus. These are social events – not races. We try not to leave anyone behind (unless\, of course\, you want to be alone!). Non-members/visitors may participate in a maximum of one ride before joining the club. Guests must sign a liability waiver form which you will find here: Palos Verdes Bicycle Club (pvbikeclub.net). There will also be FREE paper shredding available\, limited to 3 boxes per person – the truck will be parked in the lot adjacent to El Pollo Inka. \n\n\n\nThis FREE event will highlight great environmental initiatives around the community and provide opportunities to learn more about water conservation\, storm water pollution prevention and energy efficiency. \n\n\n\nPromenade on the Peninsula is located on Silver Spur Road between Hawthorne and Crenshaw Boulevards. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. Schools that will be performing include Palos Verdes High School\, Palos Verdes Intermediate School\, Palos Verdes Peninsula High School\, Redondo Union High School\, and Torrance South High School. \n\n\n\nThe Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic\, founded in 1952\, is one of 11 Affiliate Committees whose volunteers support the mission of the LA Philharmonic through fundraising\, youth music education\, and fostering the love of music in the community.
