DESCRIPTION:Join us exploring the Abalone Cove Ecological Reserve with its beaches\, tide pools and bluff top views. The 109-acre Preserve contains an official State Ecological Preserve with important natural marine resources\, and the bottom of the Portuguese Bend landslide complex. Tour the tide pools teeming with fascinating marine life. This area is a Marine Protected Area\, so removing marine life from the tide pools is prohibited. Moderate to Strenuous (sturdy\, close-toed shoes and walking stick recommended as part of the walk will be over cobblestones). No reservations required\, free (parking fees may apply).
