DESCRIPTION:Start your Holiday season with “The Nutcracker”\, presented by Peninsula School of PerformingArts. A beautiful blend of professionals\, pre-professionals\, adults\, and young dancers cometogether to delight audiences of all ages with this rich rendition of the classical ballet.In this Christmas classic Herr Drosselmeier weaves an enchanted story through the dreams of ayoung girl\, Clara\, and her Nutcracker. Her travels take her to the Battle of the Nutcracker andthe Mouse King then to the Land of Snow\, and on to the Kingdom of the Sweets\, where Clara isgreeted by the ever so beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy\, danced by Hannah Sheriff and MalayaPaterson.Music by Tchaikovsky and Directed by Tita Boulger & Vera Ninkovic\, “The Nutcracker” is a treatfor the entire family.The performance will be held at the Palos Verdes Performing Arts Norris Theater on November22 at 7pm\, November 23 at 2pm and 7pm\, and November 24 at 12pm and 4pm. SUMMARY:Point Fermin Lighthouse 150th "Legacy of Lights" Lighting Ceremony and Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Come and celebrate the 150th Anniversary of the Historic Point Fermin Lighthouse with two beautiful Festival of Light events.  \n\n\n\n\nOn November 23 come out for the 150th Lighting Ceremony which will begin at 5pm with the lighting at 5:30pm followed by music and food until 7pm.\n\n\n\nOn December 21 enjoy a Family Christmas 150th Celebration starting at 4pm with lights\, crafts\, music and food until 8pm.\n\n\n\n\nLights to be lit every evening at sunset until 9:00 pm. \n\n\n\nDecember ends a year of official celebrations of the Sesquicentennial Year of the Point Fermin Lighthouse\, which originally opened in December of 1874!
