Whale of a Day celebrates the migration of the Pacific Gray whale from the frigid waters of the Arctic seas to the warm lagoons of Baja California. \n\n\n\nEvent highlights include: \n\n\n\n\nChildren’s games & crafts\n\n\n\nInflatables\n\n\n\nFace painting\n\n\n\nPoint Vicente Lighthouse Grounds Tours\n\n\n\nTours of the Interpretive Center’s museum\n\n\n\nMarine-themed vendors and local organizations\n\n\n\nLive music from local artists\n\n\n\nFood trucks\, Kettle Corn\, Churros\, Beer & Wine\n\n\n\nSilent Auction & Raffle\n\n\n\nAnd as always – gorgeous views and cliff-side whale watching!\n\n\n\n\nThe event is free to the public and takes place on the main grounds of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center at 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West. With an increase in the number of retreats and programs we are offering for our next-level caregiving moms\, our 2024 goal is to raise $75K with at least 500 participants all around the world! \n\n\n\nBIG NEWS!! One of our generous supporters has stepped forward with an extraordinary offer that will make all contributions this year go much farther! We have a matching donor\, up to $15\,000 for all NEW DONATIONS or INCREASED DONATIONS. \n\n\n\nHere is how it works: \n\n\n\n\nNew Donations/Sponsors: For every new donation we receive\, our donor will match it dollar for dollar. Your $50 becomes $100\, your $100 becomes $200 and so on.\n\n\n\n\n\nPrevious Donors/Sponsors: If you’ve supported us in the past\, your donation will be matched for any amount exceeding your previous contribution. This exciting event is fun for everyone. Whale of a Day celebrates the migration of the Pacific Gray whale from the frigid waters of the Arctic seas to the warm lagoons of Baja California. \n\n\n\nEvent highlights include: \n\n\n\n\nChildren’s games & crafts\n\n\n\nInflatables\n\n\n\nFace painting\n\n\n\nPoint Vicente Lighthouse Grounds Tours\n\n\n\nTours of the Interpretive Center’s museum\n\n\n\nMarine-themed vendors and local organizations\n\n\n\nLive music from local artists\n\n\n\nFood trucks\, Kettle Corn\, Churros\, Beer & Wine\n\n\n\nSilent Auction & Raffle\n\n\n\nAnd as always – gorgeous views and cliff-side whale watching!\n\n\n\n\nThe event is free to the public and takes place on the main grounds of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center at 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West.
