SUMMARY:International Coastal Cleanup Day at Founders Park with Los Serenos
DESCRIPTION:Join Los Serenos de Point Vicente Docents at International Coastal Cleanup Day.   \n\n\n\nCoastal Cleanup Day is an international day of action to protect our oceans\, watersheds\, and wildlife from trash and plastic pollution. Docents with Los Serenos de Point Vicente will be meeting at Founders Park this year and cleaning up the Rancho Palos Verdes Beach and Ocean Trails Reserve. We invite you to join us in protecting our local beach. \n\n\n\nUnder the guidance from the California Coastal Commission\, Heal the Bay has served as the Coastal Cleanup Day coordinator for all of Los Angeles for over 35 years. By lending a helping hand in the year’s beach clean-up efforts you will be taking care of our local marine life\, habitats\, and the ocean ecosystem. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: bucket\, garden gloves\, sunscreen\, hat and refillable water bottle. Limited supplies will be available at our site\, but may run low. Route is on a steep pathway and sandy beach. Closed toed shoes are encouraged.All volunteers must complete a Heal the Bay waiver to participate. Fill yours out by visiting the links below and save your confirmation!
