This beloved South Bay tradition is a family-friendly day of music\, games and civic awards. For hundreds of residents this event is a highlight of their 4th of July festivities and there’s no better place to celebrate our nation’s independence than on the picturesque playing fields of Malaga Cove School overlooking the blue Pacific. All festivities at Malaga Cove School\, 300 Paseo Del Mar\, Palos Verdes Estates\, July 4th are funded by residents and online donations in any amount www.PVJuly4.org are welcomed. \n\n\n\nThis year’s Hometown Heroes 2025 Honoree is Pete Villani. So don’t forget your beach chair and blankets for this famous and long-running fireworks spectacular\, being held this year at 9 p.m.\, Sat.\, July 5\, at Cabrillo Beach. The event is co-sponsored by the Cabrillo Beach Boosters and the Port of Los Angeles. \n\n\n\nTo experience the show as a VIP and to help raise funds for the fireworks and long-term vision of the Boosters to preserve and elevate Cabrillo Beach consider purchasing VIP tickets which include dinner\, live music\, one free raffle ticket\, front-row viewing and more.
