This brand-new exhibit features eight monumental bird sculptures made from bamboo\, each with a unique personality and story to tell. But Bamboozled is far more than an art exhibit\, it transforms the Garden’s 87 acres into a whimsical\, interactive journey. Guests will follow the clatter of bamboo wind chimes as they search for each sculpture\, which are tucked throughout the Garden’s stunning landscape. Inspired by nature and rooted in traditional techniques learned in Taiwan\, their sustainable\, temporary works have appeared in 18 U.S. states and abroad. Dodson is drawn to the mystery of birds; Moerlein to nature’s dramatic\, visual stories.

DESCRIPTION:The Marine Mammal Care Center is open for public visitation Fridays\, Saturdays\, Sundays\, and Mondays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. They are closed to public visitation Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays. During your visit\, you will get to see seal and sea lion patients\, enjoy various exhibits\, join a scheduled lecture or activity\, and learn from our experienced volunteer docents. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. To book with a Deaf Guide\, please contact dbader@marinemammalcare.org to coordinate a time and date.Tickets are free (a $5 donation per person is appreciated) and must be reserved online in advance.
