DESCRIPTION:The annual Music in the Garden\, featuring young musicians from South Bay schools\, will take place on Saturday\, March 16th\, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the South Coast Botanic Garden. The event is sponsored and organized by the Peninsula Committee Los Angeles Philharmonic.Music in the Garden provides an opportunity for student orchestras and choral ensembles to perform and showcase their talent. Schools that will be performing include Casimir Elementary\, Ridgecrest Intermediate\, Palos Verdes Intermediate and High School\, Peninsula High School\, and South High. \n\n\n\nThe Peninsula Committee\, founded in 1952\, is one of 17 Affiliate Committees whose volunteers support the mission of the LA Philharmonic through fundraising\, youth music education\, and fostering the love of music in the community.
