SUMMARY:Local Autism Warriors Gala 2025
DESCRIPTION:Since last year was such a success we want to run back this event\, but this year with a psychedelic theme and deeper connection to fun! If you’ve been looking for a reason to have a great time for an even greater cause then you have met your match! There will be amazing live music from one of our favorite bands Legion of Minglewood. Come have dinner\, drinks\, dance\, peruse! PLUS take home some of the incredible items provided by top brands\, trips\, tickets\, etc. 100% of the proceeds from your ticket purchase and additional donations will go DIRECTLY to Surfer’s Healing! \n\n\n\nSO WHY SURFER’S HEALING…… \n\n\n\nSurfers Healing hosts surf camps for kids with autism\, locally\, nationally\, and even internationally on occasion. These camps are FREE to the kids participating\, but cost overall upwards a million a year for Surfers Healing. Izzy Paskowitz (former world pro longboard champ–in case you want to know) began this foundation with his wife Danielle over 25 years ago when their son Isaiah was diagnosed with autsim. They knew that the ocean is unlike anything else just like autism\, so they combined the love of surfing with the love of their son and then extended this concept to all the sons and daughters that are autistic. \n\n\n\nAutism has become a part of our regular dialect and that is largely due to the push for autism awareness which leads us into the actuality of autism acceptance. Local Autsim Warriors was formed in Redondo Beach in support of Surfer’s Healing Foundation\, because we believe and know the massive benefits of water and the therapeutic effects it has\, add surf on top of that and you have a recipe for the happiest sensory sensation. Our biggest motivation can come from the tiniest of souls\, Hendrix is what we call ours and we will continue to honor more feet in the water. \n\n\n\nWe can’t wait to see\, meet\, and vibe with everyone who comes and be sure to introduce yourself to the Paskowitz family while you’re there!!!
