You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. They are closed to public visitation Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays. During your visit\, you will get to see seal and sea lion patients\, enjoy various exhibits\, join a scheduled lecture or activity\, and learn from our experienced volunteer docents. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. To book with a Deaf Guide\, please contact dbader@marinemammalcare.org to coordinate a time and date.Tickets are free (a $5 donation per person is appreciated) and must be reserved online in advance. Whale of a Day celebrates the migration of the Pacific Gray whale from the frigid waters of the Arctic seas to the warm lagoons of Baja California. \n\n\n\nEvent highlights include: \n\n\n\n\nChildren’s games & crafts\n\n\n\nInflatables\n\n\n\nFace painting\n\n\n\nPoint Vicente Lighthouse Grounds Tours\n\n\n\nTours of the Interpretive Center’s museum\n\n\n\nMarine-themed vendors and local organizations\n\n\n\nLive music from local artists\n\n\n\nFood trucks\, Kettle Corn\, Churros\, Beer & Wine\n\n\n\nSilent Auction & Raffle\n\n\n\nAnd as always – gorgeous views and cliff-side whale watching!\n\n\n\n\nThe event is free to the public and takes place on the main grounds of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center at 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West.
