South Coast Rose Society Annual Show & Sale
April 26 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm PDT

Attention all rose enthusiasts and garden lovers! The South Coast Rose Society is excited to announce the annual Exhibition of Roses, set to take place in the sun-filled atrium at the Palos Verdes Art Center on April 26, 2025, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. This vibrant event is open to the public; admission and parking are free.
The exhibition aims to educate the public on the rich culture of roses and the historical gardens in the area. Expect a spectacular display of heritage and modern roses, including hybrid teas, floribundas, climbers, hybrid musks, David Austin roses, miniatures, polyanthas, and more. Members of SCRS and the public are invited to showcase their roses. Roses may be presented as singles, groups of two or three, or in bouquets.
For participants bringing roses, setup will start at 9:00 am. Vases and identification cards will be provided. American Rose Society Rosarians will be onsite to help identify any unknown roses.
This year’s exhibition highlights several local historical sites with rose gardens. Featured are the family-friendly ranchos: Los Alamitos, Dominguez, and Los Cerritos, along with the Banning Museum, Bembridge House, and Point Fermin Lighthouse. Each will display their roses and other flowers and share literature about their historical significance.
SCRS members and expert Consulting Rosarians will be available throughout the day to answer any questions about rose cultivation. There will also be presentations by distinguished rosarians along with auctions featuring roses, plus special gardening tools, rose books, and other items will be available for purchase.
Join us for an extraordinary day filled with the beauty and fragrance of roses and learn more about the local historical sites that add to our community’s rich heritage.
