Pt. Fermin Lighthouse Volunteer Training

The Point Fermin Lighthouse (in San Pedro) is gathering together a new class of enthusiastic volunteers for training. New Volunteer Training is scheduled at the lighthouse for Tuesday, June 13th, and Thursday, June 15th, from 10:30 – 12:30. The minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
Volunteer opportunities include working in the gift shop; greeting visitors; gardening; leading tours; . . .

Docents greet visitors from around the world, interpret the cultural and natural history of the lighthouse, including the Fourth Order Fresnel lens on display, maintain the gardens and operate the Society store which sells lighthouse related items.
