Peninsula Library Friends Foundation Monthly Book Sale at Malaga Cove Library

Sponsored by the Peninsula Library Friends Foundation. Just in time for the Holidays, enjoy a Gift Shop Pop Up along with our monthly book sale. More than 25,000 books, large print, books on CD, music CD’s, records and puzzles to pick from. Lots of great gift ideas. New donations arriving daily. Admission is free and sale takes place on Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4:30pm.

For more than 50 years our monthly book sales have helped fund essential programs and Library services, including Sunday hours, children’s reading programs, the Teen Annex, and the expansion of the local history collection.

New Book Donation Guidelines recently updated.

To address the overwhelming volume of recent donations and associated safety concerns, the Foundation is implementing the following changes:

• New Donation Schedule: Donations will be accepted only on the second Saturday of the
  month, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• Updated Donation Standards: All items must be in good condition (no damage, mold, or
  excessive markings).
• No Longer Accepted: Magazines, periodicals, and loose-leaf binders will no longer be
  accepted.

The Foundation encourages the community to continue donating “gently used” books and media to help maintain these valued programs. Community members are asked to honor the new schedule and standards for the benefit of all.
