Palos Verdes Ballet presents the beloved romantic story of “Giselle:” for their 43rd anniversary season. Giselle, sweet natured and ebullience who loves to dance, but her heart is weak will be performed by alumni, Norika Matsuyama, Soloist of San Francisco Ballet and Olivia Tang-Mifsud, former Joffrey Ballet artist. Albrecht will be performed by Steven Morse, Soloist of San Francisco Ballet and Alex Reneff-Olson, another San Francisco Ballet artist will portray the role of Hilarion, a besotted gamekeeper who is consumed by requited love for Giselle! The performance will be highlighted by Palos Verdes Ballet’s student dancers including pre-professional division student and 2023 YAGP finalist, Christine Ng who will debut in the role of Giselle.
