Palos Verdes 61st Annual Old Fashioned Fourth of July

The Peninsula’s Oldest Independence Day Celebration is back to Celebrate 61 Years of Family Fun with Patriotic Music and Civic Awards. This beloved South Bay tradition is a family-friendly day of music, games and civic awards. For hundreds of residents this event is a highlight of their 4th of July festivities and there’s no better place to celebrate our nation’s independence than on the picturesque playing fields of Malaga Cove School overlooking the blue Pacific. All festivities at Malaga Cove School, 300 Paseo Del Mar, Palos Verdes Estates, July 4th are funded by residents and online donations in any amount www.PVJuly4.org are welcomed.
This year’s 2026 Heritage of Freedom Honoree and Guest Speaker is Evan Lovett, Creator of “L.A. in a Minute” viral podcast.

- 8:30 a.m. Apple Pie Entries Accepted for judging. All pies must be homemade and contain
apples. All ages accepted. - 9:30 a.m. Apple Pie Judging takes place.
- 9:30 a.m. Face Painting.
- 9:30 a.m. Line up for Children’s Bicycle Parade.
- 10:10 a.m. Children’s Patriotic Bicycle Parade.
