DESCRIPTION:Join Los Serenos de Point Vicente Docents at International Coastal Cleanup Day.   \n\n\n\nHeld in more than 100 countries around the world every September\, the International Coastal Cleanup (ICC) is the world’s largest effort to rid the ocean and waterways of plastics and marine debris. California Coastal Cleanup is typically the third Saturday of September. The cleanup brings awareness to the marine litter problem and provides a community event for direct involvement. \n\n\n\nLos Serenos “adopted” Abalone Cove in 1988 as part of the Ocean Conservancy’s Adopt-a-Beach program but the recent land movements have CLOSED the beach. \n\n\n\nThe location for this year’s event will begin at Founders Parkand cleaning up Rancho Palos Verdes Beach and Ocean Trails Reserve. We look forward to seeing you there. \n\n\n\nWhat to bring: bucket\, garden gloves\, sunscreen\, hat and refillable water bottle. Limited supplies will be available at our site\, but may run low.
