Los Serenos Nature Walk – Point Vicente Interpretive Center/Vicente Bluffs Reserve)
December 14 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm PST
Join us for a tour of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center (PVIC) native plant garden and a walk along the spectacular bluff top at the Vicente Bluffs Reserve and the Ocean Front Estates residential development.
Learn interesting facts about the gray whale and hopefully observe some as they make their annual roundtrip migration between nursery lagoons in Mexico and feeding grounds in the Arctic. The Gray Whale Census & Behavior Project has operated on the Palos Verdes Peninsula since 1984. Trained volunteers on the PVIC patio spot and track Pacific gray whales on their annual migration, recording counts and behaviors. This project runs during daylight hours, from December 1st through late May.
Easy; wheelchair accessible
