Los Serenos Nature Walk at Agua Amarga Reserve

View the reserve’s lush green canyons and ocean views from the Lunada Canyon Trail. Hike through the three acres of restored coastal sage scrub and a willow wetland. A natural habitat right in the middle of urban residential sprawl. It is home to the California gnatcatcher, thriving in pockets of restored native coastal sage scrub. (
Parking is on neighborhood streets nearest the Posey Way trailhead accessed from Kings Harbor Drive. Moderate to Strenuous. Out & back (2mi); sturdy lug sole shoes & walking stick recommended.
