Our winter blooms and green foliage are a picture-perfect backdrop to usher in the Year of the Dragon\, complete with red lanterns and festive activities throughout the entire month of February. Every Saturday and Sunday\, the Garden will host two 30-minute live performances – at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Both shows will feature the same types of performances including lion dancers\, folk dancers and drummers. There will also be all-day activity stations taking place on the Lower Meadow from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. as well as classes that can be purchased for an additional fee. We hope that by showcasing the countless beautiful aspects of Asian culture\, we can raise awareness about the recent historical hate crimes against Asian Americans and unite people while celebrating our diverse people and cultures. \n\n\n\nThe show runs now through February 23 at the Peninsula Center Library Foyer\, open during regular library hours.

They are closed to public visitation Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays. During your visit\, you will get to see seal and sea lion patients\, enjoy various exhibits\, join a scheduled lecture or activity\, and learn from our experienced volunteer docents. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. To book with a Deaf Guide\, please contact dbader@marinemammalcare.org to coordinate a time and date.Tickets are free (a $5 donation per person is appreciated) and must be reserved online in advance.
