DESCRIPTION:Want to help monitor local preserves in the Palos Verdes Peninsula? Interested in educating others on how to safely enjoy the trails and natural areas? Become a Trail Watch Volunteer and make a difference on the trails! \n\n\n\n– Get Certified: Attend 2 training sessions (must sign up for and attend both) and one training hike (any ability level)– Visit the preserve at least 4 hours a month as a volunteer for a minimum of one year– Educate users in proper etiquette on marked trails– Offer assistance to those who are lost\, need water\, etc.– Submit reports online of what you see and hear to help the Conservancy and City maintain the trails \n\n\n\nSaturday November 16th\, 9AM – 12PM AND additional training on Saturday November 23\, 9AM – 12PM \n\n\n\nThis is an 18 and over volunteer opportunity. Volunteers must commit to a live scan (background check) for this program.

Special $50 rate for student-run businesses.\n\n\n\nIncentives for Presenters: Each presenter will receive a business card-sized ad in the 2024-2025 Basketball Program publication! For those interested\, larger ad sizes are available by simply paying the difference.\n\n\n\n\nThis event isn’t just about promoting businesses; it’s about fostering connections within our community. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide.
