These six larger-than-life trolls are meeting here in our 87 acres to try to help us humans out. You see\, hundreds of trolls came together at “Trolliefolkyfest” to discuss their favorite topic – us humans. While they know we mean well\, we keep failing them by making questionable choices\, like cutting down forests\, emptying rivers\, and putting humans – and them – in danger. While most of the trolls think we are past saving\, these SIX think they can help us. DESCRIPTION:PV Bike Club holds regular Sunday morning breakfast rides that depart at 7:30 AM from the fountain in Malaga Cove Plaza\, PVE. Riders of all types\, guests and visitors are welcome; just show up wearing your helmet and with your bike in good working condition! Most of the rides are of medium (20 to 35 miles) duration. The restaurants are generally modestly priced with good to excellent menus. These are social events – not races. We try not to leave anyone behind (unless\, of course\, you want to be alone!). DESCRIPTION:Toast on the Coast is the largest outdoor festival in Palos Verdes with live music\, gourmet food tastings\, premium wines\, craft beers and fun cocktails from top local restaurants and popular wineries and breweries. The event is from 2-6pm with food service from 2-5pm and special indulgences from 5-6pm. Bars will close at 6pm. All proceeds benefit the Peninsula Education Foundation whose primary mission is to elevate education to the 10\,000+ students in all 17 schools of the PVPUSD. \n\n\n\nTickets will go on sale on August 1\, 2023 at 10 am. \n\n\n\nTicket prices include unlimited tastings of food and beverages. General Admission $150\, VIP Lounge $250 and Private Cabana for 10 $4000. \n\n\n\nThe Estate Wine Dinner has been added this year by popular demand and is not to be missed. Immediately following the daytime wine and food festival\, we are excited to host a sit-down dinner adjacent to the festival with wine pairings\, live music\, live auction and paddle raise. \n\n\n\nThe reimagined wine dinner\, in lieu of the Main Event\, will be gorgeously set under twinkle lights on the exact location Palos Verdes was founded 100 years ago. This is a separately ticketed event from the Toast on the Coast daytime wine and food festival. A standalone dinner ticket is $350/person. A combination ticket for festival and dinner is $500/person.

SUMMARY:Washed Ashore Art to Save the Sea Exhibit and Adventure Tours
DESCRIPTION:Trash is making a splash in the Garden this spring. Come see beautiful sculptures made of “trashy” finds\, explore our “trashy” past\, and learn how we can all be a little less “trashy” with the Garden’s latest exhibit\, Washed Ashore – Art to Save the Sea. Sixteen giant creatures made from beach debris have washed ashore and landed at the Garden through September. \n\n\n\nWashed Ashore – Art to Save the Sea is a non-profit organization committed to combating plastic pollution through art and education. These 16 sculptures\, which consist primarily of sea creatures\, were built by the organization and its volunteers to inspire and spark positive changes in consumer habits. The Garden\, having been built atop a sanitary landfill\, has been proof throughout the past 60-plus years that beautiful things can come from trashy pasts. With this exhibit\, we further explore the concept\, as well as the education behind what we can ALL do to limit waste\, particularly our single-plastic use. \n\n\n\nWhile Washed Ashore is included with Garden Admission (free for Members\, up to $15 for non-members)\, the Washed Ashore Adventure Tour is an additional $29 per person.  \n\n\n\nThe Washed Ashore Adventure Tour includes a non-stop shuttle tour unlike anything Garden guests have ever experienced. To start\, guests will meet Defender of the Garden\, Sage\, or the spirited and mischievous Blossom. Both characters take turns hosting the tour\, providing humor and fun along the way. The whole experience is about 45 minutes\, including an exclusive photo opportunity at one of the sculptures. Lastly\, tour guests get to take home a reusable SCBG water bottle to help reduce their carbon footprint. Tours are offered Friday through Sunday. \n\n\n\nPlease note\, these sculptures are works of art. DESCRIPTION:PV Bike Club holds regular Sunday morning breakfast rides that depart at 7:30 AM from the fountain in Malaga Cove Plaza\, PVE. Riders of all types\, guests and visitors are welcome; just show up wearing your helmet and with your bike in good working condition! Most of the rides are of medium (20 to 35 miles) duration. The restaurants are generally modestly priced with good to excellent menus. These are social events – not races. We try not to leave anyone behind (unless\, of course\, you want to be alone!).
