During your visit\, you will get to see seal and sea lion patients\, enjoy various exhibits\, join a scheduled lecture or activity\, and learn from our experienced volunteer docents. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. The event will include commentary\, music\, honors to all those Americans who made the ultimate sacrifice caring out their duties. \n\n\n\nKeynote speaker is Redondo resident Rear Admiral Sandy Adams\, United States Navy\, retired. Other local elected officials\, community leaders\, veterans and military dignitaries will participate. A veteran from the local area will receive the American flag that has been flown over the Memorial. Music provided by soldiers of the 40th Infantry Division Band\, California National Guard\, Joint Forces Training Base\, Los Alamitos\, CA \n\n\n\nThe Ceremony is supported by the Coastal Naval Sea Cadets\, Redondo High USMC JROTC the Scouts and the United USA National Pageant Legacy Maker Academy. \n\n\n\nDonations and contributions are still being accepted for the Redondo Beach Veterans Memorial.Brick purchases and sponsorships available:See www. At We Are Brave Together\, we admire the patience\, personal growth\, and unwavering advocacy that this motherhood journey requires\, as well as their ability to cultivate gratitude and persevere with kindness in challenging times.To support these courageous moms and their invaluable contributions to their families and communities\, we are organizing our annual WABT Mother’s Day Fundraiser. The goal is to offer assistance and honor the mothers by providing tailored weekend retreats that cater to their needs and offering scholarships focused on addressing their specific requirements. Our programs are geared towards respite\, rejuvenation\, education\, and fostering connections. Since our inception in 2017 with one retreat per year\, we have expanded to a remarkable nine retreats scheduled for 2025!We are excited to announce that this year\, we will once again have a matching donor who will match donations up to $5\,000! This means that your contribution will have double the impact in supporting these amazing moms who work tirelessly for their children.
