Layla & Friends Walk, Hosted by Jack Black
October 7, 2023 @ 8:00 am – 11:00 am PDT
For the last five years, more than 2500 walkers have joined us for Layla & Friends’ Walk for Providence KidsCare, celebrating the life and legacy of Layla Paige and all patients touched by Providence KidsCare all while raising awareness for our critical programs and nearly $400,000. Host Jack Black takes everyone for a beautiful walk along the cliffs and enjoy food and activities, raffle prizes, and an amazing art auction featuring works created by Providence KidsCare patients and their families. Last year, the event began with a heartfelt song by Nicholas Tana in honor of his daughter Cat, a current TKC patient. The Sonnens
shared their story of their daughter Layla, who died in the care of Dr. Glen Komatsu after searching since her birth for a cure.
All proceeds of the event benefited TrinityKids Care, the only hospice and palliative care program dedicated to children in Los Angeles and Orange Counties, provides compassionate end-of-life and palliative care to children and adolescents. TrinityKids Care was created in 2001 to help children with life-limiting illnesses live as normally as possible for as long as possible in their own homes. The mission of TrinityKids Care is to provide compassionate service to all, regardless of their ability to pay, and is made possible through the generous support of the community.
We would love to invite you to the event or to help us spread the word before the event takes place. For additional information, please contact Providence TrinityCare Foundation, kristin.conforti@providence.org, or call 310-498-9523. CLICK HERE to register.
