A special author event with Rosa Kwon Easton at Malaga Cove Library

Malaga Cove Library, welcomes Rosa Kwon Easton on Sunday, Dec. 15, 3 p.m., to celebrate her new release, WHITE MULBERRY. Described as rich, and deeply moving, Easton drew inspiration from her grandmother’s life to tell the story of a young Korean woman in 1930s Japan who is torn between two worlds and must reclaim her true identity to provide a future for her family. Easton will be joined in conversation by Velveth Schmitz, Rolling Hills Estates mayor and CEO of HireBetter.
The event is hosted by {pages}, a bookstore. A portion of book sale proceeds from this event will benefit the National Charity League Peninsula Chapter.
