DESCRIPTION:The Palos Verdes Library District (PVLD) is celebrating Jane Austen’s 250th Anniversary by hosting a series of events honoring the legacy of Jane Austen. Ms. Austen is the author of “Pride & Prejudice”\, “Emma”\, “Sense & Sensibility”\, “Persuasion”\, and “Northanger Abbey” amongst others. Jane Austen is one of the most famous writers in English literature. This yearwould have been her 250th birthday! So we are celebrating her legacy at the library. \n\n\n\nKick off the celebration with a themed game night at our Miraleste Library branch in honor of the Jane Austen 250th Anniversary Celebration Week! We will have various Jane Austen themed board and card games and you’re also welcome to bring your own. Light refreshments will be provided. \n\n\n\nNo registration required. Drop-in.
