DESCRIPTION:The Marine Mammal Care Center is open for public visitation Fridays\, Saturdays\, Sundays\, and Mondays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. They are closed to public visitation Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays. During your visit\, you will get to see seal and sea lion patients\, enjoy various exhibits\, join a scheduled lecture or activity\, and learn from our experienced volunteer docents. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. To book with a Deaf Guide\, please contact dbader@marinemammalcare.org to coordinate a time and date.Tickets are free (a $5 donation per person is appreciated) and must be reserved online in advance. DESCRIPTION:Two ways to enjoy the Fourth of July at Shade at the Marina in Redondo Beach \n\n\n\nRed\, White & Aqua: Rooftop Firework LoungeCelebrate Independence Day poolside at the Aquadeck Rooftop Lounge at Shade at the Marina. With sweeping ocean views\, craft cocktails\, and a front-row seat to the South Bay’s most spectacular fireworks show\, it’s one of the best ways to spend the holiday by the water. Doors open at 7:00 PM\, with fireworks beginning at 9:00 PM. General admission is $45 and includes access to the rooftop and two drink tickets. Seating is not guaranteed and is first come\, first served. Child admission is $25 for guests 10 and under and includes unlimited soft beverages and rooftop access. \n\n\n\nFor those looking to elevate the experience\, VIP cabanas are available for $500. Each cabana includes lounge seating for up to six guests\, a charcuterie board\, six drink tickets\, and two complimentary parking passes. Only five cabanas are available and must be reserved by calling 310.921.8953. Reservations are available now on OpenTable. \n\n\n\nBBQ & Boom: Waterfront BBQ and Family FunCelebrate the 4th of July on the water with an elevated BBQ buffet\, family-friendly activities\, and a rooftop view of the South Bay fireworks. Held on the Sky Level at Shade at the Marina\, this casual\, all-ages event includes festive fare and patriotic face painting for kids. The buffet includes slow-roasted pulled pork sandwiches\, Angus burgers\, grilled tri-tip sandwiches\, classic sides\, and fresh watermelon with salt and Tajín. Non-alcoholic beverages are included\, and alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. \n\n\n\nDinner service begins at 7:00 PM\, with fireworks at 9:00 PM. Tickets are $75 for adults and $35 for kids 10 and under. Reservations are available now on OpenTable. Space is limited.
