DESCRIPTION:The Marine Mammal Care Center is open for public visitation Fridays\, Saturdays\, Sundays\, and Mondays from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. They are closed to public visitation Tuesdays\, Wednesdays and Thursdays. During your visit\, you will get to see seal and sea lion patients\, enjoy various exhibits\, join a scheduled lecture or activity\, and learn from our experienced volunteer docents. You can also do some shopping in our gift store with all proceeds supporting the care and protection of marine mammals and our shared ocean. \n\n\n\nThe Marine Mammal Care Center is proud to offer tours in American Sign Language with a Deaf Guide. To book with a Deaf Guide\, please contact dbader@marinemammalcare.org to coordinate a time and date.Tickets are free (a $5 donation per person is appreciated) and must be reserved online in advance. These bands and musicians are South Bay’s favorites that have been electrifying the music scene with their rock tributes covering several decades of music.Laryssa Densmore\, a singer in the Crow Hill Band is a breast cancer survivor. She started the Rock Your Pink charitable organization and the annual fundraiser in hopes of giving back to the local community through music and connecting cancer patients to resources in the community.The Cancer Support Community South Bay organization is so important to so many people in our community\, offering free programs for patients with cancer\, their families and loved-ones. Their goal is to help as many cancer patients as possible recover from the physical and emotional effects of cancer.Get ready for a great night of Rock n’ Roll standing in solidarity with those currently impacted by cancer! Her travels take her to the Battle of the Nutcracker andthe Mouse King then to the Land of Snow\, and on to the Kingdom of the Sweets\, where Clara isgreeted by the ever so beautiful Sugar Plum Fairy\, danced by Hannah Sheriff and MalayaPaterson.Music by Tchaikovsky and Directed by Tita Boulger & Vera Ninkovic\, “The Nutcracker” is a treatfor the entire family.The performance will be held at the Palos Verdes Performing Arts Norris Theater on November22 at 7pm\, November 23 at 2pm and 7pm\, and November 24 at 12pm and 4pm.
